How to Create a Facebook Account
Step 1
Open your internet browser and enter"www.facebook.com" as the URL (The bar at the top of the screen).

Once at www.facebook.com enter the information in the text boxes. This includes:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Re-Enter Email
- New Password
- I am: Male/Female
- Birthday
Step 3
Click the "Sign Up" button after you have entered your information.
Step 4
On the "Getting Started" Page, click the "Skip This Step" when asked to "Find Friends." It will then ask you again to skip this step. Click "Skip."

On the "Profile Information" Page, click the "Skip" to move on to the next portion.
Step 6
On the "Profile Picture" Page, click the "Skip" to move on to the next portion.
Step 7
Now we need to go into the email account you used to set up the account to confirm the sign up process is complete. This will sync the account and allow you to start using Facebook. We can do this by simply clicking the "Go to Your Mail" button in the pop up window at the top of the screen.
Step 8
Clicking the button will link you directly to your email account. You may need to enter you email address and password if you don't have this information saved on your computer. For the purpose of this tutorial I created a Yahoo account.

Step 9
Now we need to open the email titled "Just One More Step to Get Started on Facebook." Opening this email you will see the option to "Follow this Link" to confirm the account is active. *REMEMBER - You may need the confirmation number associated with this email. The easiest option would be to copy the number directly from the email by highlighting the number, right clicking the number, and clicking "Copy."
Step 10
Once you have clicked the link in the email, it will automatically direct back to your personal Facebook page. Congratulations, you are now registered in the Facebook community! The next step is to create the "Facebook Page" for your business.
